Some Very Sad Green Updates with a Hopeful Ending

I had started a garden again this year in hopes that I would have a bounty of fresh vegetables to eat.  I expected the same turnout as last year:  more zucchini than I could eat, lots of green beans, great lettuce everyday.

This was unfortunately very far from the truth.

Because of a combination of my ignorance in fertilizing used soil and our crazy weather patterns, I have only this to show for my garden:

Cherry tomatoes.

Don’t get me wrong; these are delicious cherry tomatoes, but I was hoping for a little bit more.

The hopeful ending?

There is a second planting season in my region through July and August.

I get to plan a fall garden. 🙂
