I am so excited to share my very first giveaway with you guys!
A few months ago my friend (technically my sister-in-law’s mother-in-law, but also a friend) began selling goods for a company called Trades of Hope. Trades of Hope is an organization that strives to help impoverished, under-priveleged women worldwide support themselves by selling handmade goods. TOH works with organizations across the globe, as well as with artisans themselves to market their products to more and more customers. Trades of Hope sells personal accessories, including jewelry and scarves, as well as small home accessories.
One of the things I love about Trades of Hope is that the goods bought from their website have already been purchased from the artisan. TOH pays each woman who makes their products before the final customer buys the product. This company is truly dedicated to helping the artisans they work with, rather than making a profit from their hard work.
Another thing I love about Trades of Hope is that their products reflect the regions of the world they are made in. And one of my favorites?
I happen to love scarves, and this one is just fantastic. Aqua is one of those colors that I use to brighten up whatever I am wearing.
How about you? Think you might wear this gorgeous silk scarf?
Then you have two options: either comment below and let me know what you think about the Nepali Aqua Scarf and if there is anything else from Trades of Hope you love, or you may “share” AND “like” this post on my Facebook page.
