More Travels

100_3453Today wasn’t a terrible day in food waste.  In the bag is about one serving of London broil that has been tucked in the back of our fridge for almost three weeks.  It’s not a lot of meat, no, but it is local, grass fed beef (not cheap!).

In the jar is the remainders of a smoothie I made for Madeline a few weeks ago.  I don’t even remember what is in it, but I’m pretty sure there’s some spinach in there.  Why I thought someone would finish a quarter of a cup of smoothie I’m not sure.  Oh well.

I’m glad to have the fridge clean because tomorrow the girls and I will be traveling to the (even) colder north for my nephew’s birthday and christening.  Wish us luck and no snow!
